1001 Goals Giveaway - Day 26

by Adam Clark @efc_adamclark

There are now just three days remaining in our 1001 Everton Goals giveaway and today the competition continues with a memorable derby strike from nearly two decades ago.

Name the striker netting against Liverpool in our video and you could be in with a chance of winning a copy of the Blues' latest official DVD.

The newly-released offering includes each of the Club's first 1001 Premier League goals, up to and including the two strikes which secured a late 2-1 win over Tottenham in December.

1001 Goals DVD

All the big players from the Premier League era are in this collection - Tony Cottee, Paul Rideout, Peter Beardsley, Duncan Ferguson, Andrei Kanchelskis, Wayne Rooney, Kevin Campbell, Tim Cahill, Louis Saha, Yakubu, Leon Osman... and there's even a goal from Tim Howard!

Some goals won big games, some were consolations; some were stunning, others were tap-ins; some sealed European qualification and some helped keep Everton in the top-flight.

To mark the launch of the DVD, evertonfc.com is giving away a copy every day throughout the month of February.

All you'll need to do is view the day's video - which will showcase one of the 1001 goals with the scorer's identity hidden - and work out who the mystery marksman is.

Then simply enter your answer to be in with a chance of winning.
