Baines Unlikely To Start Against Brazil

Leighton Baines is set to miss out on a start against Brazil with Ashley Cole handed his 100th cap.

Manager Roy Hodgson confirmed on Monday that the Chelsea man would start the Wembley friendly on Wednesday evening.

"Ashley Cole will start tomorrow and win his 100th cap," revealed the England boss.

Baines has been in sparkling form this term and had started four of the last five England games.

But Cole will become England's latest centurion against the South American side.

Baines' Everton teammates Phil Jagielka and Leon Osman are also in the squad and will be looking to enhance their own international reputations should they be handed the chance.
