Steven Pienaar returns to the Everton side to face Swansea.

The influential South African missed the FA Cup win at Cheltenham with a slight knock but is fit to resume against the Swans.

He replaces Bryan Oviedo in the starting XI with the Costa Rican dropping to the bench.

The Blues are otherwise unchanged, meaning Victor Anichebe retains his place and Seamus Colema continues at right-back. Leighton Baines is fit to play despite contending with a niggling ankle problem.

Leon Osman starts in central midfield on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his Everton debut.

Swansea name 16 goal Michu in their starting line-up while Michel Vorm is back in goal.

Everton: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Jelavic, Distin, Neville, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Anichebe.
Subs: Mucha, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Vellios, Kennedy, Duffy.

Swansea: Vorm, Tiendalli, Flores, Williams, Davies, Agustien, Ki, Michu, Rangel, Dyer, Hernandez
Subs: Tremmel, Bartley, Monk, Routledge, Britton, De Guzman, Graham.
