Everton fans have the perfect excuse to pick up a copy of music magazine NME this month as it features an exclusive article with Leighton Baines.

NME editor Mike Williams visited Finch Farm last month to speak exclusively to the Blues left-back about his love of music, including what he's listening to right now and his impression of the Merseyside music scene.

Baines also gave his verdict on NME's hotly-tipped bands for 2013.

The interview follows this blog written by Baines for in November about his favourite music from 2012 and the artists and albums he will be looking out for throughout this year.

To read the article, pick up a copy of NME today.

Also in the issue: Liam Gallagher is back leading the pack for the first part of NME's special preview of all the albums you must own in 2013. Exclusive in-the-studio interviews with Vampire Weekend, Noah & The Whale, Katy B, Foals, Johnny Marr, Queens Of The Stone Age, A$AP Rocky and more!

Tickets are still available for Everton’s first home game of 2013 against Swansea City at Goodison Park on Saturday (3pm kick-off). Ticket prices start from £31 for adults, £15.50 for juniors and £20.25 for over 65s.

Purchasing tickets is easy. Simply visit the Goodison Park Box Office, call
