Evertonians have voted Nikica Jelavic's winner against Tottenham Hotspur as their goal of the month for December.

Five of the Blues' nine goals from the matches during the month were in the running as part of evertonfc.com's monthly poll.

The Croatian was in the right place at the right time to complete a sensational comeback against Spurs. Trailing 1-0 in the 90th minute, Steven Pienaar then headed Everton level, with Jelavic snatching all three points deep into injury time.

That predatory finish from the former Rangers man pulled a massive 60 per cent of all votes, ensuring that he scooped the monthly accolade for the second time in succession after his goal against Sunderland earned the November award.

Thanks go to Beat The Radar for their track 'Misunderstood What You Said', the soundtrack to our December goal of the month video. If you have a track that you feel may fit the bill for January, please send it to digital.content@evertonfc.com.
