David Moyes has made two changes for Sunday's visit of Chelsea as John Heitinga and Steven Naismith come in for Phil Neville and Darron Gibson.
Midfielder Gibson was substituted at half-time during Boxing Day's 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic, while Club captain Neville is still working his way back to full fitness following knee surgery.
Neither Gibson or Neville feature on the bench, though there is a place for 18-year-old right-back Tyias Browning.
Seamus Coleman, who was thought to be closing in on a return from injury, does not make it.
The Blues are still without Belgian Marouane Fellaini, who is serving the final game of his three-match suspension.
The news means Tim Howard continues in goal, with Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin joining Heitinga in defence.
Moyes' midfield will be comprised of Naismith, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar, with Nikica Jelavic and Victor Anichebe the chosen pairing in attack.
