A fan mosaic displaying the letters 'EFC' was held aloft at Goodison Park on Sunday as Everton paid tribute to those who passed away in 2012.
The capacity-crowd also observed a moment's applause as the Club remembered fans, as well as former heroes such as Gary Ablett, Gordon West and Dennis Stevens.
Defender Ablett, who spent four years at Goodison Park and also had a spell at Liverpool, passed away on New Year's Day 2012 after a long battle with illness. He was just 46.
West, a two-time league winning goalkeeper of the 1960s and 1970s, died on 10 June aged 69, while Stevens, another star of the ‘60s, passed away just five days before Christmas aged 79.
Ahead of kick off, supporters in the Park End stand held up pieces of coloured card to form the mosaic, which can be seen in the picture above.
To the Evertonians we lost in 2012, we will never forget you.
