Kevin Sheedy has urged his side to continue their FA Youth Cup form.
The Blues will face Port Vale in the new year after the Staffordshire outfit defeated Crystal Palace on Friday night in their third round clash.
Sheedy's men saw off Southampton on Monday and now face a trip to the Potteries in January.
"It's going to be a difficult test for us," Sheedy told evertontv. "We will have them watched and learn their strengths and weaknesses.
"At Southampton we saw confidence and belief and it was a stiff test which our lads overcame with flying colours. We will need the same effort and commitment for this game."
The date of the game will be confirmed in due course.
