Sylvain Distin believes Everton have the quality to cover for Steven Pienaar.
The South African misses Sunday's game against Liverpool after being shown a controversial red card at QPR on Sunday.
His creativity has been a key feature of Everton's play this season but Distin insists there is plenty of attacking quality ready to shine.
Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith are two summer arrivals who are ready to take their chance, according to the Frenchman.
He told evertontv: "They are still learning every day and trying to adapt and find their roles in the squad.
"I see them every day at training so I have no doubts in my mind. I know the quality they have got and I am sure they can only get better and better, you haven't seen the best of them yet."
Distin was the man who effected Everton's goal in the 1-1 draw at Loftus Road and in the end the veteran defender was happy enough with a draw.
"It was difficult when we went down to 10 players," he continued. "We did great and even looked like we could score on the counter. I think it is a good point.
"That (the sending off) is part of football, there's not much we can do about it, we just have to focus on the game."
Defensive partner Phil Jagielka was also the recipient of praise from Distin, who revealed he's thrilled with the consistency the squad has shown this term.
"Jags loves the last-ditch blocks," smiled Distin. "It's as if he waits until the last minute to make himself look better on TV!
"From the first game every single player has stood out. You can't speak about one single player. I can't remember one game where one player has let us down."
