City Box Office For Blues

by Suzie Parker @Everton

Supporters can now buy tickets to Everton home games from Liverpool city centre.

Midfielder Leon Osman was on hand to officially launch the new outlet on Friday afternoon.

The new sales outlet means it is easier than ever for Blues fans to buy tickets for Everton's fixtures at Goodison Park after the Club teamed up with the TicketQuarter box office in the city centre.

The TicketQuarter outlet is located within the Merseytravel Travel Centre in Queen Square with Blues' tickets available from tomorrow (Saturday 15 September).

This means that fans can buy for Monday night's game against Newcastle United, as well as the upcoming clash with Southampton.

Staff from TicketQuarter have worked alongside the Everton ticketing team to ensure fans buying in the city centre are afforded the same purchasing choice and experience as those buying at Goodison.

Robert Elstone, Chief Executive of Everton Football Club, said: "As part of our commitment to provide a first-class service, we are delighted to team up with the TicketQuarter box office in the heart of the city centre to provide yet another channel for our fans to buy tickets for our home games quickly and easily.

"We continually strive to become easier to buy from and hope that the new facility will be utilised by our supporters, as well as a whole new group of fans who are taking in the very best that Liverpool has to offer - which of course, should include a trip to Goodison Park, one of the most famous football grounds in the world."

TicketQuarter, which is run by Echo Arena Liverpool, opened its doors earlier this year to allow customers to buy tickets for more than 500 events across the North West.

Tim Banfield, commercial director of ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, said: "Our aim when we launched TicketQuarter was to provide an enhanced experience for customers.

"We are pleased to be able to accommodate this new service which will enable Everton fans to buy their tickets in the city centre for the first time."

The outlet sells a wide range of tickets for music, comedy, theatre and arts, family entertainment, exhibitions and sport for a variety of regional venues.

Supporters can buy tickets at TicketQuarter from 9am-6pm on Monday - Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
