Kevin Mirallas starts for Everton against Leyton Orient.

The Belgian makes his first Blues start as one of six changes to the Everton line-up from the side which beat Aston Villa at the weekend.

John Heitinga, Magaye Gueye, Jan Mucha, Seamus Coleman and Victor Anichebe are all handed a chance to impress.

It means Nikica Jelavic, Tim Howard and Sylvain Distin drop down to the bench, while Marouane Fellaini, Darron Gibson and Steven Pienaar aren’t involved at all.

Also waiting in the wings for an chance to shine are youngsters Apostolos Vellios, Luke Garbutt, Shane Duffy and Ross Barkley.

Tony Hibbert again misses out through injury.

For Orient, ex-Everton keeper Jamie Jones starts, while former Blues striker Michael Symes is on the bench.
