Ladies Derby Set For Halton

by Daniel Alston @efc_danalston

Everton Ladies will face rivals Liverpool at Stobart Stadium Halton on Wednesday 30 May.

The two Merseyside clubs meet for the first time this WSL campaign, with the 7.30pm fixture in Widnes likely to be as well-contested as recent meetings.

The Blues emerged the victors from the last derby encounter - Natasha Dowie's first-half effort earning all three points in a 1-0 win.

That game followed a dramatic 3-3 draw in the Toffees' first ever WSL match. Dowie was again on the scoresheet, nipping in to net her second and Everton's third of the game in the 93rd minute.

Fans can pay on the gate with prices set at £4 for adults £3 for 16-21 year olds and over-65s. Juniors are just £2, whilst an adult and junior can get in for £5 combined.

The full address of the ground is: Stobart Stadium Halton, Lowerhouse Lane, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 7DZ.
