Everton Under-13s are celebrating winning the AMA Freight Masters after overcoming Germans SV Hamburg in the final.
The young Blues held their nerve to defeat the tournament hosts on penalties after a goalless draw in Harsefeld, south-west of Hamburg.
Everton's starlets shone throughout the 16-team competition, conceding just two goals in eight games on their way to lifting the trophy.
The tournament also featured Dynamo Kiev, Hannover 96, St Pauli, Armenia Bielefeld and a host of teams from Scandinavia.
"All the staff involved are pleased with the discipline and attitude shown by all the players," said the academy's Ian Lavery who was with the squad. "It goes without saying that we are immensely proud of their achievement."
