Road Closures This Friday

by Adam Clark @efc_adamclark

Supporters planning to buy their 2012/13 Season Ticket from the Goodison Park box office ahead of this week’s Early Bird deadline are being advised to do so BEFORE Friday.

A number of road closures have been planned in the Walton and Anfield areas due to the Sea Odyssey Giant Spectacular event taking place in the city on the day - the final day Evertonians can take advantage of a Season Ticket discount of up to 25 per cent.

The closures are expected to cause long delays between the hours of 9am and 6pm and fans are urged to visit the box office by 6pm on Thursday or use alternative payment methods online or over the phone.

>>> Buy your 2012/13 Season Ticket online

Buying online is quick and easy and allows you to guarantee your seat for the forthcoming campaign from the comfort of your sofa, office, bedroom - wherever.

Supporters purchasing online receive the very same options as those buying in person or over the telephone, can still take advantage of the various payment plans available and can even use our special console to assess the view from any seat in the stadium.

If you would prefer to buy over the telephone, you can call 0871 663 1878 between 8am and 6pm every day between now and Friday to speak to one of our Fan Centre staff.

The Sea Odyssey Giant Spectacular, an event organised by street theatre company Royal De Luxe, will see two mammoth mechanical models parading the streets between the city centre and Stanley Park, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to take to the streets to watch over three days.

Friday's road closures will affect Walton Lane (between Priory Road and Walton Breck Road), Spellow Lane, Anfield Road, Sleepers Hill, Walton Breck Road, Oakfield Road, Belmont Road (between Whitefield Road and Breck Road), Breck Road (between Belmont Road, Breckfield Road and Heyworth Street), Everton Road, St Domingo Road and Heyworth Street.
