Blues On The March

by Daniel Alston @efc_danalston

Staring at the clock, itching to get out of work, mentally preparing for the weekend.

Today hasn't been just any old Friday though. Everton - and thousands of supporters - are making their way to Wembley!

Tomorrow's 12.30pm FA Cup semi-final kick-off in the capital has meant that many Blues used today to complete the journey in good time.

On the Official Everton Facebook page, Blues from around the world have been sharing the lengths that they are going to in order to get to the game against neighbours Liverpool.

Paul Cunningham: "Driving down Friday night.... missing my wife's 30th birthday on Saturday.... #inthedoghouse"

Hannah Finney: "I'm a London-based Evertonian whose family have all come down for tomorrow! Can't wait to see us win! #COYB #standtogether"

Michael Hall: "Hummer limo 16 lads goin from fantail kirkby at 5am sat morning coyb"

David Beggs: "Flight from Belfast International to London Southend, arriving at 10am (please god, dont let the flight be delayed!) then a taxi to whisk 7 of us to WEMBLEY....COYB!!!!"

Mark Taylforth: "From ipswich.... A short train journey instead of the 500 mile round trip to goodison. Going with a mate who we went 95 win together"

Pete McCann: "Flying in from Las Vegas today."

Meanwhile, on fellow social networking site Twitter, Toffees have been tweeting anxiously as each hour passes and the big game draws closer.

@Carl_EFC: "on the way to London. The train is 70 to 30 in blues favor #peoplesclub rt? COYB!"

Alexander Cortes: "I'll be cheering on the mighty blues from Sydney. #COYB"

Alex Stephenson: "In car on the way to wembley! Everton flags and scarfs on the window getting in the spirit! Got a great feeling @Everton #proudblue #coyb"

The players themselves took to Twitter to detail their preparations.

Phil Neville: "Training done relax on the train now down to London-I feel so lucky/privileged to be involved in this game tomorrow I can't wait #coyb"

And there has been plenty of great photos sent into together@evertonfc.com, such as this one from Steven Watt of his dog Buster.
