Female football stars of the future can train with England and Everton Ladies players tomorrow at a fun football festival in Liverpool city centre.

Ahead of the launch of the second season of the FA Womens’ Super League (WSL) on Sunday 8th April, the FA Girls’ Football Festival - supported by Continental Tyres, Sport England and UEFA - will arrive at Chavasse Park in Liverpool One to encourage girls to participate in football.

The festival is open to girls aged 5-17 and their families. Young people have the chance to have a kickabout with friends on an inflatable pitch, learn football skills and drills with the Everton Ladies squad and take part in interactive games and competitions.

Free kids tickets to Everton Ladies first home fixture of the season against Birmingham City on Sunday 22 April will also be available at the family fun day.

Along with the activities at Chavasse Park, three Everton Ladies stars will also visit Everton Two to meet fans tomorrow.

Jill Scott, Toni Duggan and Fara Williams will be at the Liverpool One store from 2-3pm to pose for pictures, sign merchandise and talk to fans about the new season.

Everton Ladies kick off the WSL season with a trip to London on Sunday to take on current champions Arsenal Ladies.
