In the past 24 hours tickets to the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley have gone on sale to all Season Ticket and an announcement has been made regarding non-Season Ticket holder availability.
The Club have received numerous questions from fans and can offer the below responses.
I have been queuing for a long time online. What should I do?
Our IT teams have increased capacity to 300 concurrent connections, we currently estimate there have been queues of up to 4,500. Once a session becomes available we will automatically connect you. Do not open multiple windows or refresh once loaded as this will ultimately be counter-productive.
What happens if a Season Ticket holder customer number was used to purchase individual game tickets as well - can those credits be used on Thursday?
No. Supporters are only allowed to access ticket(s) to Wembley through one particular route, ie if you are a Season Ticket holder and a shareholder, you can only access through either the Season Ticket holder channel or the shareholder channel.
I am having problems buying online. What should I do?
We ask supporters to persevere with the online system, it will be the most effective way of securing your seat. Any supporter who wishes to make a complaint should contact the Fan Centre via email. Please note the Fan Centre is currently extremely busy and your query will be responded to as quickly as possible.
When are tickets being posted out? When can they be picked up?
All supporters who successfully purchase a ticket will be notified via email of the expected delivery or collection date. Please be patient with us whilst we fulfill your tickets.
Are all tickets in all four price bands still available?
At the time of publishing these FAQs, yes, there are.
I have been waiting on the phone for a long time, what should I do?
We understand supporters' frustrations and the Club urges fans to go online to buy.
If I buy for the upcoming Fulham and Sunderland Premier League games do they count as home match credits?
No. Only games that have already been played qualify. For the avoidance of doubt, this does include the Sunderland and Fulham home cup games. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused since Monday's update.
Why was the non-Season Ticket holder criteria set at 5 matches?
Because of the timescales and volume of tickets involved, we would not have been in a position to sell and distribute the tickets if we had gone any higher from the first day of match ticket sales.
I appreciate you want to reward Goodison Park loyalty but wouldn't counting loyalty points have measured this?
When deciding on the criteria for FA Cup semi-final tickets, the Club came to the decision that rewarding loyalty based on attendance at Goodison this season was the appropriate thing to do. For more info, see Robert Elstone's blog.
How long is the queue time online and on the phone?
Queue length varies and changes constantly - we advise fans to go online. Fans queuing online are urged not to open multiple browser windows or refresh the page as this will slow down the process.
How many tickets have been sold so far/how many are left?
We have sold over 11,500 tickets so far today to Season Ticket holders with 0 away games (as of Tuesday, 12.20pm). Our processes and systems are performing well but we would urge and remind all supporters that due to the sheer volume of traffic, there will inevitably be some waiting time.
