David Moyes has revealed that Leon Osman is a doubt for the game at Chelsea.
Osman is struggling with an injury picked up in the game against Liverpool two weeks ago.
At his Friday press conference Moyes was asked how his squad was looking following the international break.
He said: "I think they have all returned okay but we have a couple of injuries.
"We picked up one or two in the Liverpool game. Leon Osman - we are monitoring him. We will see how it goes but hopefully we will have more or less a fully fit squad to pick from."
Everton do have Jack Rodwell eligible after the red card he received against Liverpool last time out was rescinded on appeal.
Moyes admitted he was satisfied with the overturning of the red and is now trying to move on from the whole episode.
"It is pleasing," he said of the FA's decision to strike off a potential three match ban. "It was correct and it was the right decision that was made.
"We have tried to move on from it but obviously it is still in our minds because it was a big game - a derby game - and we wanted to win it if we could but that was hindered.
"The hardest thing is that every single person I meet in the street says ‘hey, it's the worst decision I've ever seen'.
"There's not a person who hasn't come up and said they can't believe how the decision went."
Victor Anichebe (groin) is Everton's only long-term injury absentee ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge.
