Everyday this week Graeme Sharp and Ian Snodin are providing their expert insight on the 216th Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday.
So far this week the former Blues pair have discussed Liverpool's goal threat and key man and today we're focusing on manager Kenny Dalglish.
Dalglish has invested heavily since retaking the reigns at Anfield and Sharp believes he still has a lot to prove in his second stint at the the helm.
"He did okay last year, but he's spent an awful lot of money in the summer and they've got to get a Champions League spot," Sharp told evertontv.
"With the money they've invested that is the least the owners will be looking for so there's a lot of pressure on him.
"I think the talk in the summer about winning the title from some Liverpool fans was far-fetched."
