Every week on evertonfc.com Graeme Sharp gives us the lowdown on the Blues next opposition in Sharpy's Scouting Report.
But ahead of the 216th Merseyside derby we've enlisted the help of Ian Snodin to give Sharpy a hand for a special series of Scouting Reports.
Every day this week Sharpy and Snods will take a look at one of the key parts of Saturday's game as David Moyes' side look to beat the Reds for a second successive season at Goodison Park.
We're starting with the goal threat and Sharpy expects Luis Suarez to cause the Everton defence problems but says strike partner Andy Carroll still has a lot to prove at Anfield after his £35m move from Newcastle in January.
He said: "It takes a lot of time to bed time and with no disrepect to Newcastle he is now at a club where you are expected to put in a performance week in, week out.
"At Newcastle he could get away with one good performance in three, and that's probably what he's done at Liverpool so far."
