Mikel Arteta makes a welcome return to Everton action against Bohemians.

The Spaniard hasn't featured since the USA tour after suffering a foot injury but is back in midfield tonight.

Elsewhere, the side is a mixture of seniors and up-and-coming youngsters, with Shane Duffy and Luke Garbutt lining up in defence.

Ross Barkley continues in midfield, along with Jack Rodwell and Marouane Fellaini.

Victor Anichebe and Jermaine Beckford are the attackers with Jan Mucha handed a start in goal.

There's plenty of experience on the bench where the likes of Phil Neville and Sylvain Distin are alongside Tim Howard and Leon Osman.

Everton: Mucha, Hibbert, Garbutt, Heitinga, Duffy, Arteta, Beckford, Barkley, Fellaini, Rodwell, Anichebe. Subs: Bilyaletdinov, Mustafi, Osman, Vellios, Howard, Neville, Baxter, Distin.
