Blues Meet Usa Fans

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

Three Everton stars joined legend Graeme Sharp at a supporters' evening on Monday evening.

Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines and Tim Cahill headed to O'Neal's pub in Philadelphia where close to 100 Evertonians had assembled to meet their heroes.

First, Graeme Sharp held a Q and A with fans, answering questions on both his playing career and the current Blues squad.

When the three current first-teamers arrived they were afforded a rapturous ovation and spoke openly when responding to questions from the floor.

There was also time for anyone who attended to get a signed photo and have their photo taken with Sharpy and the players.

Sharpy told evertontv: "There are Evertonians all over the world and it's always nice to meet with them wherever they are.

"Fair play to the lads for coming along after a particularly hard day's training - they know what the Club means to the fans and credit to them.

"They are fine ambassadors for the Club and at the end of the evening everyone enjoyed themselves."
