England Pair Bow Out

Everton pair Hallam Hope and John Lundstram suffered defeat with England Under-17s on Thursday morning.

They were part of a Three Lions side which went down 1-0 to Holland in Serbia in the European Championship semi-final.

Hope had scored three times in the tournament to help England to the last four but Kyle Ebecilio's 26th-minute goal proved decisive for the Dutch.

By reaching the semis, England booked their place in the Under 17s World Cup which takes place later this summer and Hope and Lundstram are in the provisional squad for that showpiece, along with another Everton man, Tyias Browning.
