Brunt Missing For Baggies?

by Matthew Gamble @efc_mattgamble

West Brom could be without influential wideman Chris Brunt for their trip to Everton.

Brunt is second in the Premier League assists chart this season with seven - but could miss the Goodison game with a groin problem.

The Baggies will also be without central defender Jonas Olsson.

"Chris Brunt is doubtful for Saturday," said visiting manager Roberto Di Matteo.

"He's getting better but he's not 100 per cent yet. Olsson is still out. Everyone else is in reasonably good shape."

Everton and West Brom are level on points ahead of Saturday's clash but ex-Chelsea midfielder Di Matteo believes the Blues' total isn't a true reflection of their powers.

"I think they've been playing well and probably haven't won as many points as they'd have liked or deserved," he added.

"It's going to be an interesting game. They are a very good side, with some good players.

"It's a difficult challenge for us and it's a difficult ground to go to."
