The Fan Form - Stoke

Welcome to the Fan Form

This season will be hunting down supporters of the Blues' opposition on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter and getting them to fill out a questionnaire about their team.

We'll then post the findings before every game so Toffees fans can see how the opposition are approaching the upcoming game.

Ahead of the game with Stoke City,we tracked down Potters fan Hazel Jones. This is what she had to say...

I Hazel Jones confirm I am a fan of Stoke City FC.

I have been supporting Stoke City for 12 years.

I am feeling positive about this upcoming game between Everton and Stoke City, ten points apiece should  make for an exciting game.

Our manager Tony Pulis is the best thing to happen to Stoke City since Stanley Matthews.

The 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday was frustrating, however we have finally broken our scoring duck against possibly the biggest club in the world. So that was nice.

The form of Kenwyne Jones so far this season has been very impressive, although he does play much better as the second striker and not the main man. A Fuller and Jones combination should make for a great Caribbean cocktail. The main ingredients being pace, power and goals.

The view that Stoke rely on Rory Delap’s throw ins is total rubbish. Delap is possibly one of the most underestimated players in the league. The throw ins are useful so why not use them. Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves and even Ivanovic at Chelsea seem to agree.

Rory Delap

Accusations about our tackling and style of play from some people are lazy. If Stoke make a challenge and it hurts a player it is ridiculous and brainless– other teams making the same challenge are just unlucky.

Stoke’s most important player is Ricardo Fuller. He is always ready to weave his magic. He can flick a switch in seconds and produce a piece of pure class.

Everton’s best player is Tim Cahill. He plays with a pride and a passion rarely seen.

By the time May comes around I reckon we will have battled hard to mid table safety and you will probably be above Liverpool...mind you who isn't.
