But Neville is expecting the Chileans to offer a stern test in the Blues' only Goodison friendly this summer.
"It is quite a unique fixture," he told evertontv. "We saw Chile in the World Cup and they are a much improved footballing nation."
The return to Goodison is not the only reason why Neville is in positive mood at the moment.
"It's the first time our fans will see us in action at Goodison - the season is creeping up on us and we need to make sure we hit the ground running," he added.
"We want to win the game, winning brings confidence and every player in the squad is back training now.
"Hopefully the fans will see the World Cup players on Wednesday night.
"The boys are looking forward to being at Goodison and these next two games are the final pieces of our preparation."
