Lukas Jutkiewicz has revealed that he wants to play for Poland.
The young striker is eligible to represent the Eastern European country due to his grandfather being Polish.
Jutkiewicz has been a regular for the Andy Holden’s reserves this term and made the bench for both legs of Uefa Cup tie with Metalist Kharkiv.
“I have expressed an interest for playing for them (Poland) and I am eligible to play for them,” he told evertonTV.
“I have made my feelings clear that if they want me to play I am ready too. It is just working out the situation with things like a passport.”
The former Swindon Town player says he would relish the prospect of playing international football.
“It would be a brilliant experience to play at any international level so I've got my fingers crossed and I will look forward to it,” explained Lukas.
