David Moyes has revealed which players have been offered fresh deals and which players will be allowed to leave Goodison this summer.

The Everton boss held a meeting with each member of his first-team squad on Monday following the dramatic final game of the season against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

Afterwards he revealed: "Duncan Ferguson and Li Tie have both been released and we have decided not to take up the transfer option on Matteo Ferrari following his loan.

"We have offered new contracts to Alan Stubbs and David Weir and we will be offering one to Nigel Martyn subject to a specialist's report.

"As well as that, several of our young players have been released - Sean Wright, Stephen Wynne, Laurence Wilson, Jay Harris, Christian Seargeant and Paul Hopkins."

The manager has also moved quickly to secure his first signing of the summer, snapping up US international Tim Howard from Manchester United on a season-long loan.
