Everton youngster Laurence Wilson is keen on a move to Mansfield
if he is not offered a contract at Goodison.
The versatile left-footer is out of contract in the summer, but
has enjoyed a loan spell with the League Two outfit.
Wilson said: "I am still in talks with Everton about my
future and it really depends what happens there first.
"But Mansfield is just the type of club I would like to
join if things don't work out up there. I've enjoyed
playing here and the fans have been good to me."
Since joining the Stags in February, Wilson has made 14
appearances and netted his first senior goal.
He added: "I didn't really know what the standard of
football would be like but it has gone well.
"It has been more physical than I thought but the good
thing is that Mansfield like to get the ball down and play whenever
"I just want to play as many games as I can and it is good
to get the first team games under my belt."
