Ladies Thrashed

Amanda Barr scored her second hat-trick of the season as Charlton Athletic beat Everton 4-0 in the FAWPL National Division today.

The Addicks striker scored three last week against Leeds and hit the target three times in eight second-half minutes at Everton with Carmaine Walker adding the fourth.

Toffees manager Keith Marley admitted a lack of concentration had cost his side as well as the absence of Sammy Britton, who is out for the rest of the season with cruciate ligament damage.

"They scored their first on 52 minutes and it was 62 minutes when they scored their fourth,'' he said. ``We just lost the plot for 10 minutes and by then we were 4-0 down and by then it was too late.

"We did miss Sammy. We had two youngsters up front and we didn't have the killer touch which they had with Amanda Barr. Her finishing was fantastic."
