Mcleod Departs

Kevin McLeod has signed for Queens Park Rangers for a fee of £250,000.

McLeod ended his long relationship with the Toffees on Monday afternoon, by putting pen to paper on a permanent deal with the Second Division club.

He appeared as a substitute in QPR's 1-2 reversal at Brighton in front of the Sky TV cameras.

The 22-year-old midfielder made 11 appearances and scored twice while on loan last season and established himself as a fans' favourite during his three months in the capital.

In contrast, McLeod made just one appearance for Everton's first-team last season as a last minute substitute in the FA Cup exit at Shrewsbury.

A graduate of the Blues' Academy, McLeod made six appearances for the Toffees after making his debut as a substitute against Ipswich in September 2000.
