Season Tickets Capped

Everton have today capped season ticket sales for the first time in the club's 125-year history.

Goodison Officials have confirmed that a limit of 28,000 has already been reached and those wishing to purchase a season ticket from now on must place their name on a waiting list.

The club's decision to introduce a cap is based on a desire to have nearly a considerable number of tickets freely available on a match-by-match basis for supporters who, for whatever reason, cannot purchase a season ticket.

With three thousand tickets allocated to the visit supporting for each fixture plus 28,000 season ticket holders; that leaves a figure of approximately 9,000 to take the ground to full capacity.
