Boss: Yobo No Go

David Moyes has joined Bolton's Sam Allardyce in protesting against friendlies arranged by Nigeria ahead of the African Nations Cup next year.

Nigeria have agreed to play Japan in Tokyo in a warm-up midweek game on 20 August, much to Moyes's disapproval.

Everton defender Joseph Yobo and Bolton midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha have been named in the squad for the match, which takes place three days before the Blues game with Fulham.

While Big Sam has already spoken out on losing one of the most valued members of his squad several times already, now Moyes is unhappy at the prospect of being without Yobo.

"We don't want Joseph to go and hopefully we can come to an agreement," said Moyes.
