Your Messages To The Blues

A selection of what we've received so far...

Hello to all the staff at Everton,

Glad to hear that all went well in Glasgow, baring the fact that Wayne was injured.

Looking forward to seeing the blues live in December, when my family and i return home for a holiday, as we live in South Africa, cant wait to take my four year old son to see the blues live, he is a die hard blue as is his dad.

Keep up the good work lads, and all the very best for the coming season, also a speedy recovery to Wayne.

Best regards,

Keith Rice

I have been supporting Everton for over 20 years now, and I hope you all can build on last season's success. Haven't been able to catch a live game yet, but I have set myself a goal to come over and see you play in the coming season. Have followed the club for a very long time now, and I remember the likes of Gray, Sheedy, Southall (of course - my big hero), Lineker, McCall, Cottee and all the other great names out of history. It's so great to witness the rise of new legends at Goodison. Hope the squad can avoid too many injuries, so we can challenge for even better things this year. And it's so great to see that Duncan Ferguson is back, and I hope he can avoid any more problems.

Best regards

Tor Eigil Johansen

Just a quick message to wish you all the best for the coming season and thank you for an excellent victory on Saturday.

Myself and my girlfriend flew home from Mallorca on Saturday morning and after a 7 hour journey straight from the airport we managed to get to Ibrox at 2.40.

It was all worth it though as we put up a really good show and achieved a morale boosting victory.

Lets hope that Saturday is the start of another great season so we again be proud of our team and their achievements for a second year running.

Hi all,

Though I am far away from where you are, but i'm constantly getting as much news as I can about my favourite team! Looking back, I've followed Everton Football Club for 20 years now, and my passion is still burning bright.

Work hard and be ready for the new season!

Well done to the lads on a fantastic victory on Saturday.

I'm a "Tartan" Toffee who doesn't get to see the team very often as I have a St Johnstone season ticket, but I travelled on Saturday with my brother (Rangers fan) and sat in the home support.

Special mention to Li Tie on a wonderful goal to open his Everton account. I was delighted for him, and could see that the rest of the team were too. Lets hope there are a few more like that to come, and that the team spirit on show continues throughout the season too.

To finish off, please lets have more of the same on Wednesday, as I'll be making my way up to Dundee United for hopefully another good performance and victory.

Good luck for the coming season.

Steve McGillivray
