St Andrews Sessions Start

Welcome, Marco!

Everything you need to know about the new boss here.

Everton's first team squad have completed their opening training session in St Andrews, Scotland - home for the next four days.

Following yesterday's 3-2 win over Rangers Blues Boss David Moyes and his coaching staff decided to keep the session fairly light in order not to tweak any muscles unnecessarily.

They took the boys to the world famous Old Course - the home of golf - for a warm down and light jog before returning to their hotel.

Once back at base the squad sat down to lunch but it wasn't long before they were back outside after the hotel sounded a routine fire alarm.

Thomas Gravesen was quickest off the blocks - finding the exit in record time - and everybody duly followed until they were given the all clear to return to the dining area.

After a light and interrupted lunch most of the squad hit the fairways for a spot of golf with David Unsworth and Steve Simonsen up against goalkeeping coach Chris Woods and coach Jimmy Lumsden.

Player power won the day and Woodsy and Lummy's forfeit was to wait on the triumphant duo during dinner!!
