Everything you need to know about the new boss here.

David Moyes has confirmed that Wayne Rooney will return to Liverpool on Saturday evening to undergo a scan on his injured ankle.

The Blues' 17-year-old striker had to be stretchered off the field at Ibrox during Everton's 3-2 win over Rangers after falling awkwardly in the 36th minute.

At present the Everton medical team are unsure as to what the exact problem is and they hope to have a clearer idea within the next 24 hours.

"Wayne went over on his ankle and we are not sure if it is serious or not," Moyes told "Everybody knows Wayne and he is a tough boy and doesn't go down for much.

"He is strapped up at the moment and we will get him x-rayed tonight back in Liverpool and hopefully we will find out the results by tomorrow.

"With a bit of luck it is not to serious, but this is what happens with young boys and this is the sort of thing that we knew could be just around the corner."
