David Moyes has confirmed that Wayne Rooney will return to
Liverpool on Saturday evening to undergo a scan on his injured
The Blues' 17-year-old striker had to be stretchered off the
field at Ibrox during Everton's 3-2 win over Rangers after
falling awkwardly in the 36th minute.
At present the Everton medical team are unsure as to what the
exact problem is and they hope to have a clearer idea within the
next 24 hours.
"Wayne went over on his ankle and we are not sure if it is
serious or not," Moyes told evertonfc.com. "Everybody
knows Wayne and he is a tough boy and doesn't go down for
