Jblue Fans Day 2003

This season's fun-packed JBlue Fans Day took place at Goodison Park where over 2,000 people gathered to take part in a range of activities.

Just 1,500 junior Blues from the 19,000-strong membership were selected to attend the special event and they thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Following the success of last year's event, the lucky members were treated to free ice-creams, face painting, and they could even try their hands at circus skills!

But the highlight of the day was when David Moyes and the first team squad arrived for a special training session.

The crowd were delighted to see their Everton stars being put through their paces by the backroom staff in preparation for Saturday's home game with Aston Villa.

Apart from the players, there were activities going on across the pitch, culminating in a special penalty shootout competition.

"The day went really well," said JBlue co-ordinator Gillian Flatley.

"All of the children had a great time and that's what JBlue is all about. I'd like to thank everyone who helped to make the day such a success."
