Pre-season brings its own range of challenges, not only for the players but for the media team too.
Take this Friday's clash with Bury, for example.
Our pledge is to bring fans coverage and highlights of every first-team game and the Bury game is such an encounter.
But unlike Premier League games, it won't be a media frenzy. The broadcasting companies won't be installing millions of pounds worth of equipment offering slo-mo's, extreme close-ups and the like.
So we're sorting it out ourselves. In conjunction with our media production partner ADI, we'll be filming the game, commentating on it, and editing the highlights - with replays and close-ups - at Gigg Lane.
It could be a late finish, but the highlights will be available well before your Saturday morning scrambled eggs.
That's not all though. We've also sorted out live commentary, with a very special guest. Our own Darren Griffiths and Blues hero David Unsworth will be talking you through the action on Friday.
Like all good commentators, Darren spent Thursday painstakingly studying Bury's players, history and trivia.
Cue an email on Friday revealing the Shakers currently have ten unnamed trialists who may well feature! Good luck, Darren.
One way or another, it will be worth a listen!

Chris RigbyGood stuff, but in all honesty I think most people expect this level of service after shelling out £40.
