Fulham U18s v Everton U18s

Everton Under-18s put in one of their best performances of the season to thump Fulham 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Young Blues were dominant from start to finish and had no problems extending their unbeaten run to four matches.

Everton were up and running after just five minutes when Harry Charsley converted Liam Walsh’s cross with his head.

The score was doubled just after the half-hour mark when a slick passing move ended with Callum Connolly finding the back of the net from just inside the area.

And Walsh made it 3-0 on 36 minutes when he bagged after a clever corner involving Kieran Dowell.

More goals followed in the second half and Everton got their fourth when Charsley doubled his tally for the day with a low finish.

The scoring was completed five minutes before the end when Calum Dyson beat Fulham’s keeper with an angled drive.

A delighted Kevin Sheedy told evertonfc.com: “It was a pleasing performance and result. We wanted to keep our form going so that we get home advantage in the end-of-season play-off semi-finals.”
