Everton v Blackburn

Everton Under-18s won for the first time this season as Blackburn were swept aside at Finch Farm.

The young Blues were grateful to striker Chris Long who helped himself to a brace and left-back Ibou Touray who scored via a deflected shot.

Long, a second year Academy player, has been a regular scorer for the Under-18s since coming into the team last season.

Touray, also in his second year, has plenty of reserve team experience under his belt.

The young Blues have  made a difficult start to the 2012/13 campaign but will hope to use this result as a launchpad.
