Arsenal U21 v Everton U21
Everton's Under-21s head to Arsenal on Monday evening looking for their first points of the campaign.
The young Blues have suffered early season defeats to West Brom and West Ham in the revamped reserve league.
In contrast, Arsenal have won their opening two games.
For Everton, Magaye Gueye is included after he scored in the first team’s 5-0 demolition of Leyton Orient last week. The Frenchman was then an unused substitute at West Brom on Saturday.
Luke Garbutt is also included after he made his Toffees debut in that Capital One Cup game as a second-half substitute.
Ross Barkley also played the second 45 minutes against Orient and he too is set for action at Barnet's Underhill Stadium.
The central defence is inexperienced at Under-21 level, with Swede Johan Hammar lining up alongside Matt Pennington.
George Green gets a run-out in midfield with Gueye likely to operate off centre-forward Hallam Hope.
Reserve regulars Shane Duffy and Apostolos Vellios are on international Under-21 duty with Ireland and Greece respectively, while Jake Bidwell is now on loan at Brentford.
Everton: Taudul, Browning, Garbutt, Lundstram, Hammar, Pennington, Green, Barkley, Hope, Gueye, Kelly, Springthorpe, Forrester, G.Jones, Long, Touray.
