Everton completed an Australian clean sweep with a 2-1 win over Brisbane Roar.
The Toffees made it three from three in pre-season so far thanks to second half goals from Jack Rodwell and Magaye Gueye.
Rodwell's strike was a peach from the edge of the box and Gueye's late tap in - after Kosta Barbarouses had equalised - was his first in a Blue shirt.
Jermaine Beckford started for the first time since switching to Everton in the summer and he was nearly in after three minutes when a backpass was underhit but goalie Michael Theoklitos cleared it just in time.

Louis Saha warmed the custodian's hands with cross-cum-shot three minutes later but there were few chances in the first half.
Luke Brattan's free kick was routine for Iain Turner as the Roar had their first effort but the action soon returned to the other end when Saha flicked a Leon Osman cross goalwards but the keeper was equal to it.
Then the Frenchman sliced an effort wide after decent build-up play from Osman and Rodwell.
On a rare Roar attack Brazilian forward Henrique went close just before the half hour but it was the lively Saha who had the last real chance of the half when he powered through the defence but shot tamely at Theoklitos.

Erik Paartalu's shot from distance was wild at the start of the second half and soon Everton were ahead when Rodwell produced a delightful curling effort from just outside the box in the 49th minute.
The goal lead to the Blues playing more freely and just before the hour mark Osman and Coleman linked up with the former lashing an effort just over the bar.
Shortly afterwards Matt McKay curled his own effort wide and then the substitutions began, as David Moyes introduced Victor Anichebe in place of goalscorer Rodwell.
Almost immediately Anichebe had an effort on goal which was a couple of yards over but then, in the 66th minute, the Roar found an unlikely equaliser.

Barbarouses popped up in the box and fired home from an acute angle following a quick free-kick.
Anichebe sent another effort over the bar and then Magaye Gueye was on for the last 20 minutes.
And it was the young Frenchman who was on hand to tap in fellow sub Jose Baxter's cross with seven minutes to go.
Anichebe could have made it secure after that but in the end it didn't matter and Everton are heading home happy.
