Kevin Campbell has failed a late fitness test and therefore Scottish starlet James McFadden is given a chance to play alongside Tomasz Radzinski upfront tonight.
Campbell was nursing a back problem during the week, but failed to recover in time for the game against Spurs.
McFadden, 20, has played on the left-wing and the right-wing for the Blues, but never in attack.
Apart from that, David Moyes has named an unchanged line-up to the side that faced Newcastle last Saturday.
Francis Jeffers comes in to replace McFadden on the bench, while David Unsworth is named as captain in the absence of Alan Stubbs and Campbell.
It's exactly nine years to the day when Everton hammered Spurs 4-1 in the FA Cup semi-final and almost seven years since the Blues' last victory over the Londoners in the Premiership.
