Holland v Latvia 23/06/2004 19:45
Holland set up a Euro 2004 quarter-final against Sweden on Saturday after a convincing performance against Latvia.
Holland got the favour they needed from the Czech Republic, who beat Germany in the other Group D game, and controlled the game from start to finish.

Ruud van Nistelrooy scored twice to give Holland a half-time lead and substitute Roy Makaay made it 3-0 six minutes from time.
The Manchester United striker, who was voted man of the match,
scored from the spot-kick midway through the first-half, before
heading his second goal minutes later.
Throughout Euro 2004 the Dutch camp has been riven by dissent, but as news filtered through from Lisbon with news of Germany's defeat, Holland's players grouped together to celebrate wildly.
