Denmark v Sweden 22/06/2004 19:45

Denmark and Sweden both qualified for the Quarter Finals of EURO 2004 after drawing 2-2 in Porto.

Everton's Thomas Gravesen had a hand in giving Denmark the lead on 28 minutes. He managed to find Ebbe Sand who, under pressure, flicked the ball on to Jon Dahl Tomasson. The ex-Newcastle striker's controlled lob from 25-yards gave Andreas Isaksson no chance.

Two minutes after the break Henrik Larsson earned a penalty and tucked it away to equalise.

Tomasson scored his second goal of the evening on 66 minutes. Bogelund's long range effort was deflected into Tomasson's path and the AC Milan man stroked the ball home to give the Danes the advantage.

It looked like Sweden could be heading home until the 89th minute when Mattias Jonson hammered home from close range after a mix up in the Danish defence.

The result meant that Italy went crashing out of the tournament.
