Everton ended the first decade of the 21st century in memorable fashion, with 2009 serving up some of the most exciting moments in the Club's modern history.

The thrill of the march to the FA Cup final and qualification for the inaugural Europa League provided the most notable highs. But there were also lows. Defeat at Wembley and long-term injuries to a host of star players provided the most stand-out examples of such downs.
