The Howard Kendall Award
The Howard Kendall Award, so called because it recognises the excellence he displayed as both player and manager, was won by the Championship-winning 1969/70 squad.
Fittingly, Howard was in that side, who won the title 30 years ago last month.
Alongside him, the likes of Alan Ball and Brian Labone - both now sadly departed - were key players.
And the goals of Joe Royle, the midfield dynamism of Colin Harvey and the goalkeeping of Gordon West were also vital.
Picking up the award was title winner John Hurst.
