Player of the Season
Steven Pienaar is Everton's Player of the Season for 2009/10.
The South African was victorious after a vote by Blues fans and collected his award at the glamorous dinner at Liverpool Cathedral.
Pienaar has enjoyed an excellent season for the Toffees, scoring seven times and proving a vital part of Everton's attacking threat.
His attacking flair and ability to unlock defences has been matched by his willingness to work tirelessly for his team, tracking back and supporting his defence.
The midfielder's cheeky chip over Manuel Almunia was also a contender for the Goal of the Season prize. Pienaar is battling to be back from an ankle problem to face Portsmouth on Sunday, after which his attentions will turn to the World Cup which takes place in his homeland this summer.
Speaking to evertontv after receiving his award from Bill Kenwright and previous winner Phil Jagielka, Pienaar said: "I am really honoured to stand here, I want to say thanks to God, to the players and to everyone who has supported me.
"The whole team has been responsible for our play, we have been giving 120 per cent to show the supporters why they have been spending their money to watch us.
"Hopefully we can carry on from this season to next season. I think I am definitely available for selection for Portsmouth."
