After collecting his award, the 25-year-old described it as the best goal he had ever netted in his professional career.
Speaking to evertontv, Mirallas said: “It was the best goal I scored this season, possibly the best in my career.
“I’ve managed to score a few goals this season and that is good.
“I’ve had a few injuries but hopefully next year will be great for me.”
After hitting a brace against West Ham United last weekend, Mirallas has now scored an impressive nine goals during his maiden season in English football.
