Goal of the Season

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's strike against Manchester United was Everton's Goal of the Season.

First, Everton legend Graeme Sharp selected his best 12 goals and then visitors to evertonfc.com selected the top 3.

These goals were put to the text vote on the evening of the awards and Billy's strike came out on top, ahead of Jack Rodwell's effort against Sigma Olomouc and Steven Pienaar's cheeky chip at Arsenal.

Bily collected a knock-down against United, took a touch, then sent an unvbelievable strike past Edwin van der Saar, who didn't even move.

The strike set the Toffees up for a famous 3-1 win.

"It was a surprise for me. I haven't scored a lot of great goals so it was a surprise.

"I hope it's not my last against Manchester United and I hope to score more goals next season.

"It is probably the best goal of my career."
